  • Narrative Description of the Project:

    The project was intiated by Architects, CES on behlf of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) who are planning a new clinic (medical centre) near the Main Gate to Mina Al Fahal refinery and industrial area. It is a very small traffic impact assessment (TIA) with minor implications to the existing road network, but assisted in determining operational considerations of ingoin and outgoing traffic, particularly being so close to the main security gate of the industrial area. Renardet completed the project culminating in a traffic study report for further action by the client.

    2) Traffic surveys to assess base-line traffic conditions
    3) Traffic generation and assignment predicted from medical centre
    4) Analysis of predicted traffic and impact upon existing road network
    5) Preparation of report to present outcome of the study and recommendations for review by client and PDO
